Spring manufacturing – new dimension of flexibility

Bodrogrugo Ltd. was established in 1997. At the millenium, the company moved to its current location. Since then we have been modernising and expanding our plants. 

The preparation for change in ownership began in 2016. By 2020 the new generation owners have been leading the company. 

New ownership also meant the renewal of corporate culture, significant infrastructural, technological and IT development.

The company is financially stable. This is also proven by the Dun & Bradstreet AAA certificate, renewed for the fifth year.

Bodrogolaszi is located in North-East of Hungary, close to the Slovakian border, only two hour drive from Budapest.   

About 1,500 m2 of plants are available for production and warehouse adding up to a total area of 5,000 m2.

For spring production, we have a spring production area, a torsion spring production area, a plate spring production area and a large spring production area, where we work with additional CNC and NC spring production machines.

 In addition, there are separate sections for spring-end grinding, pneumatic pressing, heat treatment and a maintenance sections for cutting, milling, 

We work from spring steel wire with round section of between 0.2-16 mm in diameter. We also manufacture spring clips from cold-rolled spring steel strips of 0.3-2 mm thick. The main types of springs in our portfolio are:  compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs, shape springs, plate springs.

The most commonly used materials are:

Spring steel wires of between 0.2-16 mm in diameter - EN 10270-1 SM, EN 10270-1 SH

Stainless spring steel wires of between 0.2-7 mm in diameter - EN 10270-3

Cold rolled spring steel strip of between a thickness of 0.3-2.0 mm - C 75

We source our raw materials at the most competitive rates from our suppliers, so that we can always offer our partners the best production prices available at all times.

Quality assurance: Our company has EN ISO 9001:2015 and EN ISO 14001:2015 quality and environmental management systems.

Our strength is spring manufacturing for electronics, instruments, office technology, furnitures, agricultural machinery and other areas of the machine industry. We also manufacture springs for the automobile industry without the IATF 16949:2016 quality obligation, but we can fulfill the quality criteria prescribed by the IATF.

Our commercial agent should mediate partners for whom we can produce larger series of springs in the long term.
